About the arst:

Ashley Metz is a arst that has been inuenced by the

wonder of fantasy as well as the supernatural and the

metaphysical, which drives her with the desire to paint

what she sees. She has been an arst and painter since a

very young age and in high school she took every art class

available to her from fashion and design to graphic

design. In addion to that, she has taught various paint

night classes, as a means of raising money for fellow

missionaries as well as other fundraising events as a

means of giving back to the world. As far as mediums go,

she has integrated di"erent types, though she uses

acrylic paint predominantly and prefers to do tradional

art. She likes using vivid colors that o#en contrast with

some of the darker forms in her work immensely,

especially in portraits when its important to bring the

eyes and expressions to life. As a result, her goal with her

art is to create vivid images as a representaon of the

supernatural and divinity, that we can't always raonalize

with the naked eye alone.
